Meet Andrea – Your New Hype Girl & Portrait Pro

Hi, I’m Andrea — former kindergarten teacher turned award-winning portrait photographer located in my hometown  Lewiston, NY.

Photography wasn’t always the plan. In 2010, I eloped in Italy, picked up my first DSLR, and unexpectedly discovered my creative spark. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a thriving business — capturing newborns, families, and weddings under the name Vita Bella Photography. My first love.

But after years of late nights, motherhood, and running full-speed in my business, burnout hit hard. That breakdown became my breakthrough — and the inspiration behind my chapter in Grit & Grace, a book I co-authored to share the lessons that came from losing (and then finding) myself again.

In 2019, I rebranded as Andrea Costrino & Co. Portrait Photography, narrowing my focus to modern, fashion-inspired portraits for women. What I found in this shift was something deeper than photography — it was a calling to help women reconnect with their strength, beauty, and story.

Today, I design empowering, full-service portrait sessions that help everyday women feel seen, celebrated, and confident — often for the first time in years.

This work has changed my life, and I’d be honored to help it change yours, too.
